These works are inspired by the varied natures and species of the grasses in the tallgrass prairie that form a community, exchanging and balancing each other out and providing each other with nutrients through deep soil networks and root systems.

This ongoing series of watercolors aims to capture the movement and forms of the grasses: combining the various types into collective circular forms and portraying them as a connected being.
